Welcome to the Liverpool Cricket Development Group Website
The Liverpool Cricket Development Group is the forum for Cricket Development within the city of Liverpool
It enables representatives from key partners to meet on a quarterly basis to oversee all aspects of cricket development from Primary School to Senior Club Cricket at each of the 10 LCB Affiliated Clubs.
The Lancashire Cricket Board is represented by the Cricket Development Manager for Merseyside & South West Lancashire.
The Group is supported by the Liverpool Community Cricket Development Coach who is also employed by the Lancashire Cricket Board.
The Liverpool Cricket Development Group is the local focal point for Cricket Development being at the 4th tier of a system that starts with the England & Wales Cricket Board to the Lancashire Cricket Board and then the Merseyside & South West Cricket Development Group.
The Liverpool Cricket Development Group usually meets the week after the quarterly meeting of the MSWLCDG enabling communications to be fresh and up to date.
The Liverpool Cricket Development Group has a Constitution and a Development Plan.
The remit of the Liverpool Cricket Development Group includes overseeing the city of Liverpool District Teams at Under 11, 13, 14 and 15 Age groups as well as supporting the development of both Women and Girls Cricket through Liverpool CC and Disability Cricket through Alder CC.
